What Port Should I Open in Router for Gateway IoT Connection

1. Ports used for UDP Packet Forwarder​

The gateway will use a port in the range of 1024-65535 to connect to the server's port 1700

UDP port: 1024-65535

2. Ports used for Base Station Connection​

This depends on the transfer port of the server you are connected to.

Usually TCP port 443

3. Ports used for LoRaWAN MQTT Bridge Connection​

This depends on the transfer port of the server you are connected to.

Usually TCP port 1883/8883

4. Firewall to keep internet detection​

The gateway will send ping(ICMP) via 1.1.1.1/8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4/139.130.4.5 to detect if the internet is active.

The firewall allows ICMP data to pass through.

5. Time server synchronization​

By default, the gateway will fetch time information from a public time server to synchronize local time.

Use TCP port: 123
